Farmers in North Florida are currently tending to their growing watermelon plants. Bob Hochmuth from UF/IFAS has offered tips to help them care for their crops. These include starting the drip irrigation system but not overwatering, using a preventative fungicide program to maintain plant health, and ensuring that planting is completed by mid-March.
